DES_PHOTOMAG PODCAST Launches – Episode 1 Now Live!

We’re excited to launch the DES_PHOTOMAG PODCAST! 🎙️ Our first episode is an experimental conversation in Portuguese, hosted by curator Luis Pisco, featuring Andrés Gonzalez, creator of DES_Photomag. They explore the project’s origins, vision, and our community across 40+ countries.
Future episodes will be primarily in English to connect with our global audience.

Instagram Submissions Update
To submitt your photo you must follow and tag @des_photomag or use #des_photomag.
Curated photos will show in our time line, stories, threads and will be considered for the 18 finalists of the month and further publication on our TopBest quarterly magazine.
Following and not using tag will eventually only show in our stories but will not be subject to curation for publishing on our Top Best quarterly magazine.
Update on the Top Best Selection process in 2025
Starting in 2025, DES_Photomag will expand the TopBest selection to highlight more photographers and create new opportunities for collaboration within our community.
Monthly Selection: Each month, instead of 9 finalists, we will now feature 18 outstanding photographs.
Quarterly Magazine Feature:
The 9 Best images of the month will be highlighted as TOP BEST.
The remaining 9 photos will also be featured as monthly finalists.
Recognition & Collaboration:
Each selected photograph will be published in the quarterly print edition of TopBest Zine.
The photographer’s full name, contact details, and title of the selected photo will be included to facilitate direct collaboration within the community.
Community Showcase:All 18 selected photographers each month will be invited to upload their work with the official details to ensure recognition on Instagram and in print.
This initiative aligns with DES_Photomag’s core values:

✔ Fostering collaboration – Creating meaningful connections between photographers.
